RBC did us right. Our house had been leaking since we moved in. 8 winters later, enough was enough. We had other people come and try to solve the problem but not until Robert showed up was the problem actually fixed. Robert and his team gave fair estimates and correctly diagnosed our problem the first time. When he takes a look at a job he doesn't do it half assed. He says what he thinks and shot straight every time. I would highly recommend Robert Bernhard Coatings for painting, waterproofing, or any house exterior repair work. Even our deck's never looked better. (Two years after Robert painted our house he was doing our neighbors and, on his own initiative, looked over and offered to reseal our deck because he didn't like the way that it was looking at no cost to us!)

My building's HOA (of which I am the president) invited Robert and several other painting companies to provide us with the bids to repaint the exterior of our building. We received a quick turn-around on the proposal request, a thorough inspection of the condition of the building exterior, and a competitive pricing proposal. We felt confident going with RBC - especially because Robert is extremely knowledgeable, was able to explain in great detail the issues with water intrusion that our building was facing, and how his team was going to fix those issues. He helped us pick pigments and coatings that will withstand the test time and hold up much better than the original paint job that was done on the building. When it came time to execute the paint job, the team was professional and showed as much attention to detail as Robert himself. Robert and his foreman came by frequently, were available in real time for resolving issues, and made a positive impact on a number of the owners in the building. Several of the owners had approached me since to let me know that they appreciated how the paint job work was being done and the results that it produced. THE best painter in the city! We own multiple buildings and manage others in SF, Marin and the greater Bay Area. Since discovering RBC we've always turned to them to paint our buildings and rarely even bother to get competing quotes. They are the BEST! Robert and his crew are true professionals and go above and beyond to make us happy... He knows his paints and colors and is in a position to consult with his customers on how best to address the job and color palette. We've used him on some of our investment properties and most recently on my personal home. He's got a great guarantee which he lives up to, as well for added piece of mind. The only drawback I can think of is that he is not cheap, but that being said he is worth the money! The paint on a building is the first line of defense against the San Francisco climate and not something you want to skimp on... If you value your buildings and plan on keeping them for the long run, then get your painting done by Robert! Nuff said...
